Bismarck residents on Tuesday reelected their mayor, and Bismarck-Mandan residents passed two local ballot measures that will raise their taxes but boost infrastructure. However, a $127 million school bond measure in Bismarck narrowly failed.
In statewide primary races, Republican voters sent incumbent U.S. Rep. Julie Fedorchak on to November's general election, and North Dakotans approved a ballot measure dealing with the state constitution.
Vote totals are considered unofficial until county canvassing boards meet and results are certified by the State Canvassing Board.
